Charminster Childminder

Hello!
My name is Rosalyn and I am an OFSTED registered Childminder.  I live with my husband and young daughter in a bright, clean, ground floor flat in Charminster.  I provide the children in my care with a home-from-home environment, where parents can feel confident that their children are safe and cared for. 

Making every day fun 
Getting out and about is very important, and we regularly go on outings to local attractions such as the Oceanarium, parks, playgrounds and the beach all year round.  We love to go to toddler and baby sensory groups. 

We do lots of imaginative and messy play, arts and crafts, story-telling and role-playing, and I really enjoy helping the children with creative cookery. 

I always make sure that the children feel safe and happy, valued and listened to.  Communication between parents and myself is key - children change from week to week, so staying up to date on all their developments is really important. 

Experience
I have 13 years experience and have worked in a nursery setting for 12 years, most recently in the post of Deputy Manager.  I have cared for children from three months of age all the way up to those in primary school. 

After having my little girl, I decided to put all my knowledge and experience into my own childcare business, and have really enjoyed the chance to focus my care on a smaller group of children.  My list of qualifications speaks for itself, and I am very active in furthering my education in Childcare.
